The Unspoken Rules of Elevator Etiquette

Elevators may be small, but they come with a big set of unspoken rules. First, avoid eye contact at all costs   staring can make everyone feel awkward, but a polite nod or smile is usually okay. Then there’s the classic “stand facing forward” rule; turning around or making sudden movements is a quick way to disturb the tiny elevator peace. And whatever you do, never, ever press the emergency button just because you’re bored.

Beyond the basics, elevator etiquette is about respect. Give people space, keep your phone on silent, and try not to fill the air with loud conversations or strange smells. After all, the elevator ride is short but intense   like a tiny social experiment where everyone just wants to get from point A to B without drama. Follow these rules, and you might just survive the next elevator trip in one piece. Shutdown123
